Ministry: Mir cards to start operation in Cuba by end of 2022

MOSCOW, Sep 15 (PRIME) -- Cuba will start accepting Mir cards by the end of 2022, Cuban Tourism Minister Juan Carlos Garcia Granada said at the international forum for tourism in Moscow late on Wednesday.

“Russian customers will be able to use their Mir card in Cuba, we will implement this by the end of the year,” he said.

He added that the last step in the implementation left is reprograming of the payment terminals, the work should be completed in October.
